About Cams Brick Oven

Cams Brick Oven, nestled in the quaint town of St Charles, MI, offers an eating experience that's akin to finding a hidden gem. Located at 133 N Saginaw St, this cozy spot might catch the eye at first with its unassuming façade, but what truly captivates is the aroma wafting from its traditional brick oven. The essence of authenticity doesn't stop at the door; it’s reflected throughout the menu, which is an ode to this beloved cooking method.

The real magic happens when the pizza arrives at the table. Each pie is a testament to perfection, where the lightly charred crust meets the gooey embrace of melted cheese and fresh toppings. It's hard not to appreciate how the brick oven imparts a singular flavor, giving a distinctive edge over more conventional options. For those with a preference beyond pizza, Cams Brick Oven ensures no one goes hungry. The menu extends to a variety of pasta dishes and hearty sandwiches, all promising the same level of care as the pizzas.

Location-wise, it's right in the heart of St Charles, making it an easy spot to gather, whether for a casual lunch or an evening hangs with friends. In a town where everybody seems to know everybody, dining here feels more like joining a family gathering than a restaurant visit. If the food and atmosphere weren’t enticing enough, the chatter around town is that this place is the go-to for comfort food done remarkably well. Dive into online reviews, and it's clear that Cams Brick Oven has carved out a niche as a beloved local haunt.

There's a warmth both in the ambiance and service that elevates the dining experience beyond just a meal. The staff brings a friendly, attentive approach that seems to spark conversation about the latest town happenings just as much as what’s on the plate. Such qualities go a long way in creating a sense of returning home, especially in a community-centric location like Saginaw Street.

If there’s any critique to note, perhaps reservations could fill up quickly given its popularity, so planning ahead could be wise. However, any minor wait is soon forgotten once the food arrives, as it captures the attention—and taste buds—completely. Cams Brick Oven indeed stands out as a delightful intersection of tradition and taste in the heart of St Charles.

We were driving through the area saw it on the way. Great food, great service. We had the special wet beef burrito it was huge and delicious. Also had the mushrooms Swiss burger with fries. Definitely will stop here again next time through as we didn't try the pizza which is most likely the popular dinner as it's a brick oven restaurant. Gave it a 4 bc didn't try the pizza yet.

Went for brunch and really liked the pancake tacos. Also tried the Belgian Waffles, which were okay.

Absolutely PHENOMENAL! I am super picky when it comes to salads but when I tried the Chicken Cesar Salad I was IMPRESSED to say the least! The best salad I’ve had in years. I get it every time I come! I’ve tried other things on the menu too and have not been disappointed! The owner is also very nice and made our dining experience awesome!
